Better sitting 1st row side stage on Stone's side or 10 rows back but on Mike's Side?

Thoughts?

Much different show on Mike's side

Euchrid - I'm probably in the minority here, but being in front of Stone last night, I think that while he's the less engaging guitarist, he's the more interesting one to watch. He's very zen, his guitar fingerings are more interesting, and it seemed that Eddie spent a lot of time over in our direction, almost like he knows Stone can be a little on the mellow/introverted side of the spectrum.

Indeed...but also different show sitting 1st row vs. 10-15 rows back. Does one outweigh the other in your opinion?

Thanks for the input. Agreed on the Ed "compensation" :) I've mentioned that as advice to friends in GA before :)

Check out my avatar pic, I like Mike's side better. Stone would probably have his back to you most of the time, he faces Matt quite a lot. I would rather be on Mike's side 10 rows up and you will probably even seen Stone better from that side also...like in my pic

I have been on both sides... on Mike's side you will get a lot of energy, finger pointing, maybe even a guitar pick or two. front row on Stones side.... we have a better chance of getting Ed up close. got a high five and a sip of wine. enjoy them both. 10club also did a great job of switching up my tix for the 5 shows I saw this year. good mix of stage left/right.

Right..also the stage setup is "shifted" to Mikes side so you are a bit closer still. Certainly know there is more movement out of Mike but also lots of "behind the scenes" action on Stone's side with band, guests, etc going on an off there.

PS I was 1 section over from you for that show in your pic :)

I would rather sit nosebleeds Mike's side than 1st row Stone. He is just so damn boring compared to Mike.

Ya some tambo action for the Stone side stage section usually and maybe if Mike can chuck them up 10 rows may get lucky :)

Right now...leaning towards Mike side but higher up. Keep the comments coming though

I will gladly take 1st row Stone's side any day. They run around the stage plenty, so you will get good view all around.

McCready's over rated. Take those Stone side seats and PM me right away, I'll take the Mikes side off your hands. (Oh shit, my avatar)

YES! Was lucky enough to come face to face with the man. Mind you, my face was fucking melted by the solo happening just inches away from me. Will post some photos once my buddy sends them over to me. Have a great time at Toronto2 !

first row stone's side. ed seems to be favoring that side more this tour. plus your seats are 9 rows closer.

I sat 7th row Mike's side in Philly 2 and I'll never be the same again. Plenty of Ed interaction there as well

Yep. About 3 rows in front counts as a neighbour I think right? Technically the The Ultimate Tambo Warrior was a closer neighbour...but I don't have pictures of him. Chelios and Tie Domi there as well
