    well instead of playing the 674th version of Corduroy it would allow the band and its fans a chance to explore their musicality. besides itd be FUN.

    I like the idea of some covers, but a show full of them I think I would demand my money back at some point!

    I would certainly like to hear some covers -- maybe even a first-timer -- but the whole show....hell no
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    not a bad idea in itself, but certainly won't happen at a festival..worse place for it.
    unless they do that rumoured shorter show pre-metallica :p (in which I don't believe because of logistics, if nothing else)

    I'm sure his heart was in the right place at the time of posting, but I am sure that he is in the rare few that would get into a show like that!

    i don't like all covers. i thought people wanted to see pearl jam, not a bar band.

    i don't know what the issue here is anyways, because this isn't going to happen...
