    No thanks. Pearl Jam has more than enough in their catalogue for amazing closers to bring this one in that was part of EV's solo shows.

    What does it being an Ed solo song have to do with anything? Setting Forth translated well live. It's a fantastic song.

    It's been the closer to every single one of Ed's solo shows, at least the ones I went to. It's also on Ed's solo album. I appreciate Ed solo, I really do, I just don't think they need to start migrating his solo stuff into Pearl Jam shows. Setting Forth was cool because Matt requested it. I did not appreciate Sleeping By Myself on Lightning Bolt, I thought that was a throwaway song on the album and I don't enjoy it when they play it at Pearl Jam shows.

    Just expressing my opinion, you are obviously welcome to yours.

    I would have to agree with Suzie. This is Ed's solo go to closing song and it's a good one but it is already taken. Pearl Jam, get your own closer. Hahaha!

    Prefer when the closers are Pearl Jam songs. While the covers and Ed solo songs are fun, I'm there to see Pearl Jam play. Not The Who, not Neil Young, not Eddie without the band. Pearl Jam songs should always close Pearl Jam shows

    I agree. I don't see the reasoning to rearrange a song that was on a Eddie solo album. That's a new low when it comes to fillers.

    (even though I enjoy the solo Eddie version alot)

    Hard sun is a cover song too so it seems like that would doubly piss off the people saying no Ed songs and too many covers lol

    I agree w/ Suziemay (again!)

    I would love some different songs for closers, but I also think they have a big enough catalog to choose from.

    We don't need more covers IMO.
