Dear Pearl Jam want to push the envelope? Close a show with a 10 minute version of RVM

Imagine: a 5 minute jam at the very end with the strobe lights going full blast as the crowd energy builds more and more intense, the entire building might lift off and take off into outer space. Might have to work on the jam at the end, but definitely doable.

    Great idea hank!! I have noticed that Ed has putting An end to the jams way to early.

    I don't know about five minutes at the very end but I think they can do way more with the middle section.

    Yeah the end is literally two chords. That would be tough but that middle section......rvm from dc 06 is my favorite ever.

    yeah true, well just make the part with the strobe lights jam 5 minutes long, it would be awesome to see how much energy that the band and the crowd could generate

    I dunno. I wouldn't be into it. I love that ending part as much as the next guy. But five minutes worth of it? I have back neck as it is.

    I personally would love to see more of the extended jams like in the early 90's. Nothing better than getting a nice long groove. Wish they would do a PJ XL tour with fewer songs and longer jams for some of us old Jammers.

    You know Hank, the first time i saw them they didn't make a jam at all in RVM..
    i have to wait 8 years until i got the jam..lol..

    there is huge difference in the 8 min version and the 5-6 minute version

    Ok cool for you.

    It's a crowd pleaser. It works well with the lights up. And it will no longer stop up the main set.And you can beat traffic. Perfect.
