How early for GA? Camping out this tour?

Hi all,
Common question here so I apologize for the repeats, but just wondering how early people are arriving at the venue for this tour, and whether the venues are typically allowing camping.
Thanks!
Ben

Typically, it seems like the first in line has been there as early as the previous morning

I waited for MSG2. A couple got there at like 3PM the day before, some that evening, then, maybe 20 people immediately after the show. Probably 25 people up until 6AM) probably helped that it was very chilly and dangerous.

We showed up to the venue in Ottawa just before 8:00 and still had one of the best views in the house. We were maybe 20 people deep from the rail, between Ed and Jeff's mic stands. We were able to move up to about 10 people deep after the first encore as well and enjoy the remainder of the show from even closer (beside people who had gone in when the doors opened and stood in the pit for two hours). There is lots of space in there . . . Not like back in the day when you could barely move your feet or arms. Times have certainly changed!
All that to say, unless you really NEED to be rail, or even 2-5 people deep in the pit, don't stress it.... Enjoy some drinks/time doing other things before the show instead of camping out/lining up super early..... Get to the pit 20-30 minutes before showtime (so around 8:00pm) and you will still have one of the best views in the house and the best times of your life. You'll still be well within a distance from the stage where you feel super connected to the band.
Take that for what it's worth, but don't put yourself through unneeded stress if you don't need to! The pit is ridiculously small . . . The photos from the pit don't do it justice. It is smaller/closer to the stage than the photos give off.
