  • That's bullshit. What if you were flying out Thursday May 12 to go back home in the middle of the work week? Why doesn't the basketball team play on the 12th instead? Pretty shitty.

In the tour announcement it clearly said all times subject to change. These types of things happen all the time with arena shows. Just a chance you have to take.

No believe me I noticed the dates subject to change line. They've always put that in. Of course things happen and shows might be changed. But this seems like a pretty easy problem to solve. Make the team play another day NOT the same day as the concert which has been scheduled for months.

I get your point but unfortunately the leagues don't care. This instance will definitely suck with it being night two. Set up the stage - tear it down - set up for basketball - tear that down - set up stage again. Plus what you stated earlier about vacation and travel arrangements made.

Yeah, why would they? Normally, it's either that professional sports teams and leagues sign contracts with the facilities that give them right of first refusal or the facilities don't want to piss off their most lucrative tenants. In this particular case, the company that owns the Raptors also owns the ACC so what chance would a concert have of getting their way?

The Bieber concert was almost postponed in Cleveland for the same reason. Fortunately the Cavs swept the first round and Biebs’ lip-synched, auto-tuned show went on as scheduled.

Indeed. Maybe, just maybe, Pearl Jam will do a random 10club only show @ a small club on the 11th some where's in Toronto .. if .. their show gets moved to May 12th?

Just imagine. They start doing a 10club lottery right now. 1 ticket per 10club member. Find & secure a place that night. Maybe Massey Hall? No one is playing there that night.

Ah man, if they did something like that ..
