What do you drink before a Pearl Jam concert?

I will probably drink 10-12 pints before the Wembley concert, starting on the plane 09:00 in the morning :-)

    not to many beers for me i rather go with the vodka so as to not have to piss so much but enjoy them anyway i can .......

    We'll the friend I'm bringing just came back from Germany travelling and brought me a bottle of Jagermeister, so we might share a few swigs of that before.

    I'd like to drink beer but I made that mistake at the Astoria and had to piss twice lol.

    josevolution's got it sussed. Don't wanna load up on too much liquid. You can guarantee they'll playing aparticular fave each time you go for a piss!

    Just a few beers before, then got rolling after the gig.

    My mate's working at the Muse gig on Sunday night, so hoping I can get in there somehow too!
    Not sure what that's gotta do with this thread, but...!

    totally agree, although I've realised it takes me about 4 pints to get my groove on so that'll be my limit

    Well...even though i have such a rock'n'roll life...i just can't drink too much alcohol before pj show.it's stupid to be drunk on a concert you were waiting for so long.maybe one bear an hour before the show.it lifts me up.

    before the show i drink what eddie drinks at the show...red wine
    at the show i drink beer and diet coke ;)
    but not too much because something you put in has to get out somehow...i don't like people who go for a piss during...er ...1/2 full or something

    and i think it was too much alcohol if you are more drunk than eddie is at the end of a show :)

    never have seen the point of getting pissed up before a gig

    a guy at paris show down the front with us got so hammered he looked like he was seriously fucked before pj even took the stage!, didn't see him for the rest of the show

    I'ld go for slowly chuggin on a bottle of red just for a little buzz, then after the show whatever i can get my hands on probably guiness and lots of vodka! Learnt the hard way back in 1990 at an IRON MAIDEN gig in belfast! I was 17 and drank 2 lt's of scrumpy on the coach down all I heard of the gig was "woe to you o'earth and sea" then i passed out..

    I learned my lesson at the MMJ show in Philly last December... Did WAYYY too much of both and had to drag the wife out during the middle of their set. I can do a lot of one or the other, but mixing the two can be disastrous!!!

    Haha reminds me of my iron maiden gig this year, 10cans on the bus and i couldnt see until the encore, Maybe gonna take it easier for pearl jam
