MSG GA Wristband question

Hey peeps, wondering if anyone can give me some insight on the GA Wristband situation for MSG for those that had their tickets mailed to them.

My ticket buddy had his GA tix shipped to his home. I'm meeting him earlier to trade. I will be in the GA line with my ticket in hand but not physically with my ticket buddy. So I'll have my ticket, but no wristband. Official 10C email says folks like myself will receive our bands from security as we enter.

So will I have any problem given that my buddy, whose name the tickets are in, won't be with me?

I just want to avoid any last second drama.
