My 7th show, had a blast. I loved the opening songs, Once, Animal, GSMF and All Night. After that something was just off for me for the rest of the main set, except for LBC for Joshua, that was amazing. I guess the "flow" just wasn't working for me, I never really understood what that meant until hearing this main set. I liked some of the songs enough but I just wasn't acting like a nut like I usually do.
......but those encores! The wedding thing and Picture in a Frame were neat, then Oceans was amazing (first time for me). But Chloe/Crown is what really did it, my uncle was chasing it since before I started going to shows with him (this was his 11th show). It was so emotional for us, he couldn't stop crying.
And after that point, everything "flowed" perfectly, even though I'd already gotten all of the remaining songs. Got Some was particularly surprising, never thought I would have enjoyed it so much but I loved it.
Ed was climbing the barricade sorta to the side of me. He grabbed my hand to help him up and the security guard grabbed my hand and threw it off of him. I think he thought I was gonna push him off or something. He threw my hand so hard that it slammed the rail and broke my pinky finger. (Broken tons of times so it easily breaks now but still ... not cool) I was so pissed and Ed noticed it and said It's cool or something. I totally shut down during that point but I ended up getting his wine bottle.. so that was cool.

Unreal time in the pit last night! Got there at around 7:30 so we were about halfway back just to the left of Eddie. I thought the crowd in the pit for the most part was great, a few down moments due to the song selection but no complaints about an incredible (as always) show! Reserved seats in 109 tonight so we'll be drinking beforehand in the lots longer (hopefully the rain isn't too bad or we'll go to XFinity Live).
Songs that are not completely out of nowhere that I'm hoping for tonight: Release, Comfortably Numb, Leash, Black
Finally got to hear Oceans. Also first time hearing the Chloe Dancer part of Crown of Thorns. My first row side stage drop ticket Sect 121 was the best seat I've ever had at a PJ show, all 10C tix included. Definately shooting for drops again in the future. Thanks to the forum for the drop info. You guys rock. The guy to my left was cool, Dave I think.. big springsteen fan. If you're on here I was the guy having those drunk girls get us one of Eddies tambourines. Great time overall.

Shouldn't you, like, try to get compensated for that?
I should've made this show happen. Saw the next three nights, but this is the one that had all the stuff I wanted to hear

The excitement storm brewing during the intro of night 2 blew night 1 away in my opinion. Night 1 was awesome...night 2 was like losing your virginity.
1st of four shows I did on this tour, and what a start. I had tears for LBC. Solid setlist here. All Night is so good live and great to hear Fuckin' Up once more.

Am I the only 1 who thinks night 1 was a little more amazing than the second show? Don't get me wrong, night 2 also kicked ass.
Night 1 was a great "collector" show and night 2 great for the casual fans.

Agreed about night 1, but night 2 was also a collector, considering that they played TEN from front to back.
Whatever they were they were just great.

So my girlfriend totally caught it live that boom played a bit of "Paint it Black" by the Stones during Crazy Mary (and Mike joined in)... I didn't hear it at the time but heard it upon youtube review... Awesome!

After listening to both bootlegs, I 100% agree with you. Night 1 was awesome.
I can't stop listening to In My Tree & LBC, we got such phenomenal versions of those tunes that night.
Edit: & Save You...... That was f'ing amazing.
Yeah I have to say I kind of agree. The actual experience of night 2 was much better but the bootlegs are getting pretty equal rotation from me, especially discs 2 and 3.

Both shows were great. "Which show is better" discussions are generally a matter of opinion / personal experience. So, I don't know which show was more amazing, but I enjoyed Philly N1 more than N2. I've seen a lot of "jambands" that play different setlists every night. I enjoy hearing different songs on back-to-back nights, regardless of the band. I think I would've enjoyed N2 more if Once didn't repeat as opener and there weren't as many Ten songs on N1.
Don't get me wrong, hearing Ten in full was special and memorable.
Also, I thought the crowd was more into N1 throughout the show than the crowd on N2. Of course, this could be just where I was sitting.
I've just listened to the bootlegs for the first time, and for my money night 2 blows away night 1. I wasn't at the shows so this is purely just from a listening standpoint, but night 1 had so many fuck-ups and the band was sloppy.
Night 2, the band came out like they had something to prove. Opening the show with 'Ten' was excellent, band is tight, Ed sounds great. Overall just a better experience through the headphones.

Had a great time. Thought the set was great and crowd was into the show. Fuckin' Up was great. Once was a lil rough but that is what you get when you see a band that doesn't play the same identical show every night. To me that is part of the true live experience as opposed to bands who do shows that are pretty much just a rehearsal w/ an audience. Can't wait to see them again.

Night 1 was a great "collector" show and night 2 great for the casual fans.
And yet I didnt get a new song
I guess you have a lot of shows. I had about 10 new songs from this show!

The incredible performances of In My Tree & Save You are a big reason why.
