Have a Lexington Ames show edition that I would trade for the right offer. My point is, I'm leaning towards keeping it, but the right offer could change my mind.

Not trying to be a D tease, just know it has a high demand at the moment and I want to be transparent about where I stand.

Thanks,
Brum

It might be helpful if you give people an idea of the trade that you might consider. Throwing it out there with no idea of what you are looking for is definitely a tease. Your angle might be, "Just how desperate are people to get this poster?" It isn't a Cracker Jack and you aren't going to pull in the same type of trade for it. (Not that you said that, but being left open . . . )

I hear you, but at the end of the day I'm not trying to sell it. If I was, I'd post an asking price like required.

And to your Shuss Cracker Jack reference...I actually traded mine for a sealed Sevens, which is a lopsided trade not in favor of me if you are familiar with the going rate for both. My point is that I'm not trying to flip a poster or rip anyone off and price comparison isn't a huge factor to me. But if someone had something I needed, I'd be willing to trade it. To me it's about finding a mutually beneficial trade in terms of me getting something I want/need and someone getting something they want.

That's the beauty of a trade vs. selling something. I've been buying, selling and trading on this forum for years and I can tell you that you won't find one person on here that has sold something to me, bought something from me or has done a trade with me that will have anything negative to say about me.

Thanks for the tips on how to trade on Lost Dogs though.

Dude...that Ames will be on the PJ site for days and days and days, and on Ebay for $50 for years and years and years.

You will go into restaurants and see pieces of the poster used as napkins.

You're right... I'm being hasty. I'm not thinking straight. I waited in the merch line for an hour before being shut out... Waited for the doors to open for another hour to go straight to the inside merch booth just to be shut out again...logged in to Ames website just to have it sell out before I could check out... Needless to say I've had a hell of a time getting this thing.

    Hey bootlegger10,

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm even fine with you high jacking my thread by giving your opinion.

I think you're completely wrong though, so I'm proposing this.....If this print is available in the shop for more than 24 hours, I will give you any print or piece of vinyl I own that you want. If it lasts less than 24 hours, you give me the same.

I think your opinion is pretty awful to be honest, so why don't you put your money where your mouth is? This print speaks for itself based on the demand for it, so I don't need to point out all the reasons why it will be just as in demand as the Pittsburgh 13 print.

And when you don't take me up on my offer, please reach out to cincinnati dude and tell him you were full of shit, completely wrong and trying to screw up my chances of making a trade.

My guess is you're just jealous you don't have the Lexington print. If I'm wrong I'll surely eat crow, but I'm not sure why else you'd read a post about a poster for trade that you already have and then slam the print saying it has no demand (when anyone with any ability to do the research knows it highly sought after).

I do not have the poster. Was at the show and they were available when I bought my stickers but I did not want to hold the poster during the show. I will buy it in Goods when it goes on sale here like I have done for the past 50 shows I have been to.

This is no Pittsburgh 2013 . No gimmicks required to make that one great.

A good deal is a good deal regardless of what I say so if the trade happens or doesn't it is not on me.

Not interested in making any bets about it.

The one thing you've said that I will agree on is a good deal is a good deal. Probably why since I've offered you my bet multiple people have PM'd me saying 'you're right, that dude has no clue what he's talking about' and then offered me trades of their own.

It's too bad you won't put your money where your mouth is. Don't worry though, I'll make sure to reach out to you in the future once the proof is in the pudding and I have proof of my claims. I will enjoy that very much.

By the way, what is your counter to this statement? The Kentucky Six poster is in high demand because it has the entire band on it. That doesn't happen often. I think the last time was Trieste 2014. And this print is way better than that one in my opinion.

and oh yeah, since this print will be available for '$50 on eBay for years and years and years', go ahead out there and look at what a show edition is selling for. Not what it is priced at, but what completed listings are still selling for a week later. Then go look at the Pittsburgh poster and see what it sold for during the same time period following the show. A real comparison. Again, I do my research, I just don't throw out ridiculous comments because I think I know everything. You apparently do.

So I'll make you this offer and you don't need any skin in the game. If you can send me a link in a PM from now till the end of time of that print selling for $50 two separate times, you can have any print or vinyl of mine. When you never can, I'll make sure to check in periodically and let you know again that you were oh so wrong.

At this point all you've done is hurt the dude that originally made me a trade because like I noted, I've received numerous offers through PM, I'm going to accept one of them and then he'll be out a poster he really wants.

I hope he finds one through the shop when they go on sale. They will go on sale in the shop, but again, they won't be there for long. And I'll surely be taking screen shots with time stamps to send to you, ha.
