    and this too....

The way it's going to work...almost all of the posters i have for sale, will be up at the same time. Not one at a time like the 10C does. I thought about it for a while, would i sell one at a time, or all at once? Eventually i came to the conclusion that selling them all at once is the better solution for me. I have all these posters taking up space in my flat files and they need to get out of here and into the hands of people that want them and i need to make room for upcoming posters. Putting them all up for sale at once saves me not only costs on tubes, but more importantly saves me time. I have too much going on right now to do individual poster sales like the 10C. Not only that, but some of the posters i have for sale, i only have 2 of. So it would be a waste of time to announce a particualr poster being for sale when only 2 people would be able to purchase that one. Also, i am not the 10C. They have a full time shipping department who work everyday on shipping orders. I will have to pack and ship orders in the evenings after work and on weekends, and inbetween trying to work on upcoming posters. So i can't be putting up individual posters every day or once a week, i just don't have the time for that. I need to get the inventory that i have had sitting around for far too long out of here. Everything must go!!

With all the posters up for sale at once, some of you may miss out on all the ones you were looking to get especially since as i said, i have less of some then others. But such is the nature of limited quantities. The site has also been set up to limit one poster per customer (of an individual poster, you can order 1 of every poster available if you wanted), so do yourself a favor, and only add one of something to your cart, otherwise you'll have to go back and remove it, and who knows, by then, they could have been all bought up. So don't try and buy 3 dusseldorf posters and 2 copenhagens. You'll only be able to buy 1 dusseldorf and 1 copenhagen. If you are trying to buy some for your "friend" or your "brother" who won't be able to be infront of a computer or is in the hospital having a baby or whatever, you won't be able to.

Hopefully everything will run smoothly...but i honestly have no idea exactly how many people will hit the site when it launches...we have taken measures to prepare for it, so hopefully technology will be on our side. I imagine no matter what happens, some one will be displeased with something, but so it goes...just please keep in mind i have tried to set this up as best i could to try and accomodate everyone interested in buying some posters.

    Godspeed.

You should have never told everyone it was 7PM, most would have been an hour late to the launch and the site would have had an easier time handling initial traffic. ;)

It's nice to see that he's limiting the amount of any one poster to one. Hopefully his cart and checkout system can handle the rush. Over at Obey Giant it's chaos.

Depending on how much he has from the archives, nine. I'll be happy if I can get one. I might go after the less popular ones rather than the DC or the Düsseldorf or Copenhagen. Would like an AC but will settle for a Colored Flight to Mars.

Ok, time for my sob story...

I'm excited and depressed at the same time. Excited for the launch, but depressed I'm going to miss the launch for the big TOOL show this weekend.

Now for my plea....If anyone is not buying the Gorge or DC for themselves (haha, funny, I know...) would someone mind picking me up one. I know DC is a lost cause, no one will be buying that for someone else.....I know a lot of people already have the Gorge print, so I would be extremely happy just to get that. I can paypal on Sunday after I get back, with payment for poster, shipping and a little extra for the effort. Again, I would be very grateful if someone could try to get me at least the Gorge print. And I know pickings are going to be thin, so.....

    Thanks.

I'm going to be at the "cabin" this weekend and the only internet connection there is the slowest DSL (I put cabin in quotes because what kind of cabin has high-speed internet?). Hopefully I'll be able to get through.

Man, this is going to be a clusterf**k. So you can buy a ton of posters at a time, huh? Well what if 2 out of the 5-6 that I have in my cart are sold out? I wonder how that will work. Can we go straight to checking out with the ones that are in-stock? Or do we have to go edit the cart while they are probably selling out too? If we place multiple orders will they be combined in the end for shipping purposes? God, I could go on...

Oh well. Thanks, Brad, for the opportunity. I can't wait for the poster-buying frenzy. Keep up the great work!
