I know I won't have a snowballs chance in hell, but I'll be shooting for the Showbox '04 when that Artillery sale pops. Been watching one on the bay that ends in a few hours too. Has anyone seen a Showbox for sale by Brad before? Just wondering what he'll charge just on the off chance I'll get a shot at it.

Anyone want to take bets on how quickly Artillery crashes on the 5th? ;)

    Peace,
    KJ

  • I'm shooting for the Built to Spill. I wonder what became of all those Widespread Panic posters? I'm not seeing that many of them around. Did they all sell at the show?

Apparently so. Klausen has stated that he doesn't have any, and they haven't come up for sale on the Widespread Panic site either.

People often say the posters have been stored flat since purchase.

Anyone know what they store them in and where to get them.

I think about the old baseball card holders??

Hello I saw that you had that porfolio for storing prints. Are the pages mylar? Does it come with pages? If so how many? And what size did you get? thanks chris

Wow, just your luck! I just finished typing this and still had it in the clipboard to ctrl+v it here:

The only "portfolio" that I have is this one. It's 18 x 24 so it doesn't fit everything.

For the bigger stuff i have a combination of this in the biggest size (31 x 42 x 3), with these for the really big posters (click on 'print sleeves' and then click 'acid free', they come with boards) and a combo of these and these for everything in between.

It's kind of a spendy proposition. I should also note that I only use the backing boards for the really valuable stuff. For the cheaper stuff I just put a stack of posters in one mylar sleeve and then sandwich that sleeve between other sleeve/board combos for some rigidity.

    Good luck.

I actually went to the UPS store and purchased a 4' x 8' "slab" of heavy cardboard. I folded it in half, threw it in the back of my "outfit" (thats Redneck speak for pick-up truck; ya gits alot uh that out here un Wyomin')
and drove 35 miles home. Once I was back at the ranch (not really) I sized 'er up and nipped and cut til I had muhself 2 pert near professional portfolio thingies. Least ways them thar posters can lay out flat with a nice piece of craft paper twixt em an be happy till the cows come come, or til I figure out how to frame em.
