Lex show

What did everyone think of the Lexington show? I'm by OK means an expert with only about 30 shows under my belt but just wanted to get others reactions.

Band was great. Eddie had an incredible night and the crowd was average! Coming from an 18 show guy with about 300 bootlegs. This is just my assessment.

What a setlist! They came out and killed it with the first 6 songs before playing Small Town to slow it down a bit, but there was hardly time to catch a breath til the first encore. Heard some really great deeper cuts in Education, 1/2 Full, Deep, Army Reserve, Thumbing my Way, Leaving Here, etc. Great bunch of covers (Comfortably Numb!). Band had great energy and my voice is totally shot; brilliant, brilliant night.

After seeing that set, and missing the show for various last minute reasons, even though having had 10 club reserved at the box office, I gotta say I'm sick to my stomach.... Anyone in the venue who wasn't losing their mind is outtta their mind in my book... I flipped my lid over the handful of deep cuts I seen in Miami. Kentucky is my home state, and to see PJ at Rupp would make me float on cloud nine for a little while longer... FML!!! Wrigley 1 & 2 can't get here soon enough......

Man I only got to 1 show a tour usually, but this was my fav show so far.... I heard everyone around me walking out stunned.... Was personally sad to see the back of the floor seats empty out, yet the stands and pit were still full.... Lots of crazy MF`s in those stands would not have left after Smile if they were on the floor. Bands working there ass off, and beating traffic is more important I suppose.....Thanks 10 Club for great seats, section 17. PJ should be impressed with KY, they obviously are much more popular than when there were here in 03

This show slayed. Giant thank you to 10C for our tickets, Section 31, front row, right by the sign language interpreters. I got to see what "I'll never suck Satan's dick" looks like! Also my son's first show, and it will be a life-long memory for him. The guys sent him a pick, Eddie said hi to him after the third song, and ran over to give him a tambourine during YL. Things got really dusty in there, or someone was cutting onions, or something, because my eyes started leaking...Anyway, my son was hoping to see a bunch of rare cuts, and the boys sure delivered.

30 shows doesn't make you an expert?

You need a Benny, a song request played, and lock of Boom's hair to be an actual expert.

Also, I know it's the longest of long shots, but if the guy sitting right next to me who caught the tambourine exchange on his iPhone is reading this, could you contact me? I would love to get your video clip. I didn't get your info after the show concluded. You can private message me.

It thought it was a great show as well comfortably numb and thumbing my way were definitely my highlights thanks guys. Sec 3 floor was awesome even for a short guy!
  • Good show and good crowd energy (sans the missed "help out" cue from Ed). Unique setlist/pacing. This was my 19th show. Section 14 10C seats. Excited to see how boot sounds.

Hey, I consider myself an expert, and I have only been to 2 shows (in 2006).. ah!
But I have a Benny and so much bootlegs to last a lifetime.. but more important thing, I'm as hairy as Boom, and I have an organ too.
