"i got you". pearl jam has covered it a handful of times, including a show i was at in pittsburg in 2000. i have been looking for the original version of this song but do not know who sings it. please help.

Split Enz (who became Crowded House who i'm seeing November!) originally wrote it. I'm crazy about Crowded House and Neil Finn. I think Neil Finn is todays John Lennon. And because i love this band (and pearl jam) so much i'm going to treat you to some split enz songs as well as Ed covers of Split Enz songs, which fit so well every time with Ed's voice/style. I read somewhere that Neil Finn was one of the main reasons that Ed wanted to become a singer and the two have collaberated a few times over the years.
