Any autograph advice?

Has anyone had any luck getting autographs from band members? I was thinking of taking a picture I took of Mike from an earlier show along with a self addressed stamped envelope with me to Lexington to see if i could get it to someone on the crew. Or is it better off just mailing it to the band's Seattle address?
Any other thoughts/ideas?

The day I got my avatar Ed was specifically avoiding the autograph hounds. Mike seems like someone that would get that back to you thoughChicago 6/29/98, Alpine Valley(EV) 6/13/99, Alpine Valley 10/08/00, Chicago 10/09/00, Phoenix 10/20/00, Orlando 4/12/03, Tampa 4/13/03, San Diego 6/05/03, Vegas 6/06/03, Phoenix 6/07/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Orlando 10/08/04, D.C. 10/11/04, Chicago 5/16/06, Chicago 5/17/06, LA 7/12/08, Chicago 8/23/09, Chicago 8/24/09, LA 10/07/09, San Diego 10/09/09 (Front Row Center, Finally), Phoenix(EV) 11/4/11, Wrigley 7/19/13, Phoenix 11/19/13, Denver 10/22/14, Wrigley 8/20/16, Wrigley 8/22/160

I don't think adults should be stalking for autographs. It's weird.www.cluthelee.com0

Much better ways to get legit signed stuff. I dont think i could ask them in person. Keep your eyes open and dont ever use ebay
Got my Eddie autograph when he signed some Light Years singles for Ralph Nader's official site
Jeff autograph from a signed RNDM package frim Newbury Comics.
Stone autograph came from that 7" single 10C sold a few years ago.

I asked Stone for an autograph once. Felt like a jackass. Would have preferred just to shoot the shit with him, but alas.....
I would guess that there is zero chance that you can mail it to a crew member to have a band member sign it. (I just don't think the crew would do that as it is not properly done).
Because it is a personal picture, I think you might have a slim chance that Mike would appreciate the sentimental value, and sign it for you, but you should be prepared to never see it again should you decide to mail it.
So unless you are willing to be disappointed, then I wouldn't mail it.
In person Mike is very accommodating to fans, but much more accessible during his solo gigs, than at a PJ show.
Good luck.Post edited by Wilds on0
