    I'm not trying to start a social media argument here. I think it's just posts like this that rub the rest of the country and and world the wrong way. Perhaps your intention was to say you are excited PJ is coming but by blowing off today and Tuesday's shows and calling the people in northeast the "most passionate fan base" it's kind of slap in the face to everyone else and to the 3 weeks of great shows in the south. Let's let NOLA and Kentucky have theirs. I've seen PJ at MSG. I've seen better shows in fly over country. Just saying.

    I am not offended personally. But I do think it is as I said, something that rubs people the wrong way. It comes across as East Coast Elitism. The shows are a week away, the band is in the South. Why not wait until Wednesday? It just came across to me as, "don't worry Pearl Jam, the real shows are beginning soon, and the real fans will be there." I am sure the intentions were a little different. I interpret it as probably like the people who start birthday threads for the guys in the band a few days before their birthday so they can be the one who started the thread, instead of just waiting for the actual birthday and risk not getting to be the first person to post about it. I do genuinely believe the intention was excitement for the upcoming shows, and I wasn't trying to start a thing. Maybe it was just a poor word choice.

    Seeing them in other cities/countries is awesome but for me, there is just something special about the crowds in the north east. With that said, I've had better shows outside of the area.

    I thought I saw Stone say something maybe on "PJ Twenty" about all the big $$$/profits are made by the east coast shows, ie. NY, Boston Philly always sell out both nights.

    Sure..just pay for my airfare from Chicago..hotel..and get me a poster and shirt from the show. The only problem is with open top shelf bar I can't promise to keep my hands off your wife! ;)
