The merch truck opened right on time in Greenville,
but they were running about a half hour late in Hampton & Columbia!
Get there as early as you can if you want to score a poster, event T-shirt or stickers from the outdoor merch stand...the good news is these items have been available at the inside merch stand as well!!

I concur with Dave. If you get there early enough for the outside merch stand, around 10 AM, you are in luck for show specific shirt, posters, stickers, and buttons.

If you are in line for entering the arena early enough, you can get the same items inside.

Thanks for the info... I'm not sure I can do the lines that they had in Moline , St. Paul and St Louis a few years back. St Louis was windy and rainy as well as painfully slow. With the forecast calling for rain, I'm thinking about just getting my poster and sticker at the inside stand.

Lines are long and slow moving. You need to devote at least 2-3 hrs of your day.

The merch lines have been on par with what we had in '14 at St. Louis & Moline...
maybe even a little bit longer!!
Haven't seen one as bad as Detroit yet, but it's still early in the tour

Horrendous. People are lining up 3/4 hours for the merch truck outside and show-specific things are selling out. Inside, if you're not in right at doors (and who knows how early people are lining up for doors!) things are selling out too.

    Brace yourself

I'll go back to an idea I posted awhile back...
After 10c members get the email confirming they won their show selection, 10c should offer the option of buying the show specific poster, sticker, button, flip-flop, dog collar, key chain, new bright shiny object ect, right then.
I walked off the merch line in St. Paul a few years ago, and it was extremely liberating. Ended up getting the poster in the Shop a few months later.
I think I've just convinced myself to enjoy some bourbon in a nearby bar instead of standing for 4 hours in the rain...
Well, here's to one less person in line

Got in line for Columbia at 3:20 and got one of the last posters at 4:10. Barely missed a sticker because the lady in front of me took literally 10 minutes to decide on her shirt size.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I am having the same internal discussion myself. I will show up to get my tickets, but if the line is too long, then I would rather do a bourbon tour and spend time with my wife, instead of waiting in line for that long....

waited in outside line in Hampton. got in line at 11am. merch opened at about 1:20pm. got everything I wanted. got in entrance line in Hampton right before doors opened. got everything I wanted inside.
hope this will help you decide.

  • I did the first 3 Florida shows and opted to not waste 3 to 4 hours in line outside. Instead, I lined up 30-40 mins before doors opened to be one of the first in and went straight for the merch stands. All event specific items were available, Tampa was a little tricky because only certain merch stands had the event specific shirts (I guess because so many were selling). It helps when you ask people who work at the venue (before doors open) for details on where the merch stands are and the quickest way to them. Keep in mind, you may have to ask 2 or 3 different workers before you find one that knows what they are talking about.

I think that I may just wing it at Lexington...if I show up and it is a 3 hour wait, I will just come back to the arena before the doors open.
I also like the idea of contacting someone about where the merch stands will be inside, then we can lineup outside of those doors!

Since this has been mentioned a million times before, and emailed to 10C as well, 10C is well aware that fans want this (and it has been done in the past). For whatever reason, they are choosing not to do it. I can't imagine what they reason is though.

After Missoula in 2012 I have never done the merch line. I really don't need any more product and my time out on the road visiting with friends is so limited... If there is something really cool that I just have to have like the keyring and flip flops in florida I just slip out during a too familiar tune (typically either Got Some or Even Flow) and pick something up with no waiting.
