This happened to the Chili Peppers last year (although they don't have the same die hard traveling fans)
Its the same type of fans here in ireland, people couldnt give a shit about the who or the chillis at oxegen last year but they paid money so they stuck around, but whos gonna argue if it leaves more space at the front! Lolla is gonna be a kick ass show, i wish i was going, think of tonight as a warm up gig which is what it is! after watchin vids today from lolla in 92 this sunday is gonna be something special0 -

Sorry -- adding some clarity here. There was one song where Matt sung while playing drums. Mike, Stone, and Jeff played their usual instruments. No Eddie.Shows Attended:1996-09-28|1996-09-29|1998-08-29|1998-09-18|2000-09-02|

i think it was a really excellent show, but i think its safe to say that no show is worth the thousands of dollars that some people were demanding on craigslist and ebay0

I'm still trying to think, last American festival seating Pearl Jam show? Lauderdale in 96?30+ Shows over 15 years

I don't know-I'm not crazy about this setlist. (This is CompassionateSpirit on Fookme's computer right now) I've heard better over the last 3 years.
Did they actually play Dirty Frank for soundcheck but not at the show? OMG...you know what that means, don't you??!!!!!!!! Hell, yes---now I'm getting excited for Lolla!!!
Light Years is a cool song!0 -
Is no one else wondering what song Matt Cameron sang? A Temple of the Dog song maybe?"Memories like fingerprints are slowly raising."0

the shows over??? I'm not done with my bottle of red yet?
i did get a predictable text from Sam aka LukinTimer (friend of Lori aka 1Vedhead) that the show was "incredible".....well.....duuuuuuu"Underneath this smile lies everything - all my hopes, anger, pride and shame."0 -
love the set tonight. how often do you see that many rarities in a single show? you don't.
i wish so much i coulda been there, but don't sell the show short b/c you weren't...it was amazing.0
