Prince the man, born raised, lived and died in his home state of Minnesota. Big stars tend leave their home state for elsewhere not Prince he made MN his home that can tell you a little something about the man.

how come none of his videos are on youtube?

He has an issue with them for some reason. There's some on other sites if you use Google Video search. I just found out his videos are on MTV today as well. Good for them since his stuff ain't on Youtube. They did the same for Michael Jackson when he died and rightfully so.

His albums aren't on Spotify either. Weird.

Not really. He was notorious for pulling stuff off youtube and not wanting his music on streaming services. He is, however on Tidal. I never bothered to figure out why.

I just subscribe to Tidal last week since the audio quality is much better if you pick the $19.99 plan. VERY unintentional pun there.

Loved this song when I was a 5 year old kid and still do. Great background vocals by him.

2 of the big 3 pop stars born in 58 are gone. Madonna needs to thank her LUCKY STARS she's still alive.

You were the bomb in Fargo, yo! RIP

Yes, I remember seeing the "symbol" in the credits! Was he the character who got shot in the back, while running away from the bad guys?

Try as I might I can't find the words for this...
Can't 2016 just give it a break for a minute?

In the meantime, I just got this beautiful Chris Cornell cover in my emails:

Bruce opened with Purple Rain tonight at Barclays Center, and dedicated the whole show to Prince. The whole band was wearing purple.

Yeah... he pulled stuff down, because he wanted control, and because he wasn't getting paid (which is very reasonable, IMO.) Unfortunately, he pulled fan vids, too, as he did with this one I put up... put it back after his death, and so far it's still up:

Plus some of the videos has alternate versions of their songs. I really dig the extended intro of Raspberry Beret, U Got That Look and the live version of I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man especially with that cough part by him in the former.

Apparently, a young Pat Smear is in the video for RB as well.

I can't believe Prince didn't have a will. That is crazy - why would someone like him do that I wonder?? Did he hate his family or something, and figure that making them deal with that would be a nice form of revenge?? I could never understand why people with complicated estates didn't get wills written up, especially over the age of 50.
