***Hold On*** in Philly for our son Ryan.

My son Ryan asked me to post this up, so I'm going to. He's such a good kid, and he is so thrilled to be attending 2 Pearl Jam shows in Philly next week...we all are right? He can almost sing about every PJ song out there, but one in particular that he is REALLY hoping for is "Hold On." Whether he's in his room building Legos, or practicing hockey, or in the shower getting ready for school, this is the song that I hear him singing the most often. It's infectious and when we're in the car together, we sing along with him too. He's a very artistic child, and music is everything to him, so maybe next week will be his big change to hear his big song.

Please give this post some "bump" love if you'd also like to hear it. Ryan would appreciate it. :)

    Thats a smart kid you got there I will also be at both Philly shows and "Hold On" is a song I have been chasing for awhile now so I hope for your son and me we get it in Philly!!!

    Thanks. We were all watching the Touring Band DVD last week gearing up for our trip out to Philly, and during RITFW, when Ed brings that kid up on stage with him, Ryan always says what a dream that would be to hang out and dance with Ed like that or to even hear Ed say his name. He never talks about any other band like Pearl Jam. He even gets emotional and overwhelmed with music...just like his dad. :)

    His mother and I have been PJ fans from the beginning, and our 2 young sons will most definitely pass the Pearl Jam torch to our grandchildren someday.

    We love that our kids love Pearl Jam! Flying from Boise, Idaho to Philly to share some love from the West!

    We have watched that footage a million times...Ryan knows Ed's dialogue by heart. Amazing and the folks that were in attendance were indeed lucky to have been part of it.

    Thanks for the bumps everyone! Ryan asked me today if he could send some money to the Pearl Jam website to request songs! Haha! I told him that hopefully the guys will read this and grant his wish, but not to get his hopes up. Totally fun trying though!

    She was hoping for Release at that show and wouldn't you know it, they opened with it! Needless to say, she cried through the whole thing. Neat experience!

    Hold on is at the top of my wants list. And I don't want to sound greedy here but that acoustic idea sounds pretty delicious, probably my favorite version. Break that shit out in Philly Pearl Jam!
