Hank... Memphis was a long time ago dude. you gonna be in Columbia?

yes just not happening this year, a lot of financial set backs, behind on rent and as much as I would love to go see a show, I don't want to be homeless either, it sucks that they hate Seattle so much, even The Gorge or Portland I could swing, but you are basically fucked if you are a Pearl Jam fan living in Seattle and aren't in a position to afford to be able to travel and get time off of work

or they could really fuck everybody up and start

they played Black 3rd song in Vienna 2014 and that was an amazing show, at least from everyone I talked to who went

Could only imagine if that opened, would be amazing... If they really really wanted a total mind fuck, they would open with Alive... Especially since they are starting shows with the house lights up this tour...
best I can tell Alive has opened once (Newcastle 2006 when they let Mark Richards pro surfer choose the setlis) I am taking since 1993, pre 94 doesn't count their setlists were so short

I agree but I feel like 2013 the shows got a little longer and the rarities were played more.

  • I'm going to be pissed if this show is off the charts amazing. And I know it will be. It's like they'll play the show Hampton should have gotten plus the show Raleigh would've gotten all in one. Lucky fuckers. I'm sick and tired of the SC love fests.

I can appreciate that, but with that being said, when I lived in South Carolina, there are a lot of really nice and genuine people there, so a lot of those are really good people I am sure, and all the fans traveling in to, the get to see that South Carolina is a really great place, if this show is up to the level of Greenville, it would be really awesome to put both shows on a 2 Disc DVD/BluRay, call it Pearl Jam does South Carolina, or whatever, I think that would be cool, was 2003 MSG the last time the band put out an official concert DVD? If so then they are way overdue to put out another, I know I would definitely want one, as I am sure would many other fans, plus it will give them a chance to show fans who never have been to a Pearl Jam show what it's like, so it is a really positive promotion for the band in that way, at least give us something until the next album is released.
