Idea for PJ/10 Club and Raleigh ticket holders

As a ticket holding Raleigh fan who lost out on the GA experience I've waited on for 25 years is gone I'm bumped, upset, but understand their choice. But it's over, they've made their decision and I don't think any amount of our angry voices will change it so it's time to move forward. I believe something that 10 Club may want to consider for the Raleigh ticket holders is to offer a Lottery Coupon for a future show in the Raleigh area. All 10 club has to do is keep the list of the Ga and Reserved ticket holders from Raleigh, and when the day comes that the law that they are speaking out against is repealed and the band can "return, and perhaps celebrate" with a show then 10 Clubbers whom are disappointed today at least know that their GA or Reserved experience would still be in their future. I feel that this is a solution that would make a positive impact on fans who've lost out on hotels, flights and mostly the experience with friends that truly are invaluable.

I like this idea. Keep the names, let the members who won GA and RES opt to receive the tickets before anyone else if the band ever plays NC again

I am hoping they do something like this some day when the smoke clears.

The thing I am most bummed about is the opportunity-cost of not choosing other shows. I struggled choosing between Raleigh and Ft Lauderdale/Miami and chose Raleigh. That is what my lottery went into and I 'won'.

Yes. This seems reasonable -- and I hope they will consider it. I have chosen to believe there was good reason to wait two weeks to make a stand. I just think PJ could have communicated with its fan base about it before now. We all knew it was a possibility, but we heard nothing. They could have stated their perspective then and told fans what would happen if it came to pass. While I support the boycott 100%, I think they could have taken better care of their fans. We might even have rallied behind them even stronger.

I agree with this. Plus there are show specific shirts and posters made. Offer those up to us.

take the unused posters and have the guys sign them and send them to the lottery winners.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I dont really want the poster. I would look at it through a negative lense
  • I'll take your idea one step further: have a show only for those who won tickets in the lottery.
