PEARL JAM SHOULD CANCEL THEIR CHICAGO CONCERTS.

Pearl Jam playing in CHICAGO - are you kidding?
How could any band play Chicago until the politicians do something to stop the murders?
Are you aware that over 900 people - mainly young Black men - have been shot in Chicago during the first 100 days of this year so far (as of about one week ago)?
Mayor Rahm Emanuel does NOTHING about it!
President Obama does NOTHING about it!
Bruce Springsteen does NOTHING about it!
And, now, Pearl Jam does NOTHING about it!
Where are our PRIORITIES?

Number 1 priority is being cool like everyone else.

They will cancel the shows when they get their marching orders from Clooney. No sooner, no later. There is a chain of command to follow.

Injustice is everywhere. Are we to hide in a hole in the wall?
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I can't keep track anymore. I thought we were supposed to be outraged about climate change. Or maybe lions. I can't remember anymore. Which is it, Clooney.. I mean, Eddie?
  • Cancel the whole f'n tour if they're going to place this game.

Right. Who said they were playing a game?

Lots of upset fans - understandably so - are suddenly deciding that because they took one stand, they must take all stands.

Your post isn't the best example but it did make me think of many of the responses on here.

I think people need to sign off and go spend time with their families. Rough day for a lot of people, but some of it is becoming self-imposed.

I was about to google that. 9 a day seemed ridiculous though 1.67 does as well.....

    Thank you for correcting me
The figure I was attempting to quote was "900 shootings so far this year in Chicago".
Not all of the 900 shooting victims died.
