Definitely canceling two days out... there will always be another ugly poster to make fun of. Non refundable plane tickets and hotels etc... that's more whack.

Nobody will ever see it. If they reschedule after the law is changed they will reprint it with the correct date (i.e. EV 2012 solo shows which were never released until the mystery boxes a couple years ago).

It's interesting. C'ville and Hampton had 16 songs played at both shows inc. rarities such as Sad and In My Tree.

Of the songs only played at Hampton, Long Road, Come Back, Inside Job, Brain of J stack up pretty well versus songs such as Sleight, Footsteps, Glorified only played at C'ville.

Couldn't agree more. I liked both shows. I think everyone over-hyped Hampton as a "rarities" show so travel invested folks figured 40 song set of nothing played more than 10 times due to the venues history = must see. The irony here is Charlottesville wasn't that either. The building did sound good and when your front man says they will play all night that's a bonus. The kicker for that show that got everyone in a tizzy was the Little Wing and Mother covers. Neither had been featured much if at all and you drop Floyd and Hendricks and people will flip. Irony is they've played more Floyd than Riot Act since that 13 tour.... Also there is a ton of military folks who get free/discounted tickets to the Tidewater shows (huge military props at both I've attended). Due to this VA Beach 08 was probably a more realistic expectation. You get an arena with 5,500 song hunters and 5,500 non 10C members and someone is leaving jaded.

Yeah I just don't understand why C'ville has a reputation as a "legendary" show whilst Hampton has been panned by the masses when on face value, the set lists are somewhat similar. I do agree that Little Wing is a nice finish to C'ville!
