Ok..... we need some serious guidance/suggestions from all you Londoners on where to stay for the Wembley show!!

Which airport should we fly into?

Is the Portobello Hotel a dive or is it just trendy and eclectic??
Any other favorite hotels in the area??
And which area would that be??

I need answers!!!

Seriously .... would really appreciate some input!

Thanks in advance

    Scotland :)

and then walk down for the show :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I'll do my best :o ...

Heathrow is your best bet, half an hour outside the city, easy to get to and from central with buses, trains and if you're loaded cabs.

I don't know much about the Portobello Hotel, but Portobello Road is quite a funky, bohemian kind of street with plenty to do.

If you're dubious about paying too much the Farringdon Travelodge is the base of choice for most of the out-of-town jammers. Google it.

Hope that helps and see you at teh show!
  • i don't know that specific hotel... but portobello road is just around the corner from me. it would be a lovely place to stay!

    Looks about right.

Sheesh. Looking at that, I get the sense that they'll probably charge me just for walking past the front door on the street.
