Brazil’s lower house of Congress votes to impeach President Dilma Rousseff

My step daughter is in Brazil and went to Sao Paulo today (though not Brasilia, the capitol of Brazil) while this was going down and tells us it was a wild scene!

Have you been following it? It's something else. People are not happy. I've been following the story in my Wall Street Journal. I probably should look at some other publications to read a different view.

I first heard about it from my step daughter but haven't had time to read much more than the article above about it. It seems to indicate that the people are revolting against the leftist Worker's Party. I wonder if that means they want a swing toward a centrist government or a right wing gov?

I'm also guessing this hasn't helped Rousseff much:
"Lawmakers voting for impeachment concentrated on attacking corruption and Rousseff’s economic record in 10-second speeches that were screamed as often as they were spoken."

    What is your take?
