Special Significance Greenville's Show Holds For Me

Hey all, My name is Marc and I can't believe I'm writing a post like this. Saturday's show in Greenville will be my 18th and the first one since I was in a serious accident last year. I was crossing the street and was hit by a car. I came within a few inches of being paralyzed or killed. Thankfully I made it through with only a few scars a wonky hip and slight limp to show for it. I realize how lucky I am. I was in the hospital for a month and at least once a day, many times more, I listened to Alive, not some obscure b side or live rarity,to keep things in perspective when I was feeling like I would never get back to the way things were before. If word of this post gets back to the band, I don't need a shoutout (although it would be awesome) but I'd like them to know how important Alive was to me during that time and nobody in the arena will be as happy and grateful as I am to be there and to be hearing it again. Hopefully I'll see some of you Saturday. I'll be in the 10 club reserved seats and at the Wishlist party wearing a Springsteen shirt.

    So glad you made it through that and are able to start hitting shows again. I wish I was going to that show, I'd hunt down that Springsteen shirt and buy you a beer, you deserve it.

    Appreciate the thought, but the beer is completely unnecessary. I'm just happy to be around for this. Definitely be on the lookout for me at the pre-party to say hi.

    There are some behind the stage seats on Stub Hub for face or slightly less. Prices will probably go lower tomorrow. Of course there'll probably be a drop on TM tomorrow.

    I'll have my niece's Flat Stanley with me to take pictures before and during the show. She's going to have the coolest project in her class.

    That was so rad if that was you with the sign. I was down in the pit and the emotion on your face was so powerful. It got me choked up. Glad you got that moment with Ed if that was you. Very sweet.
