He is happy to see she is wearing headphones. He then teaches her that thumbs up is okay but extended middle fingers are for when you are older. Referring to the next song “This one is especially for our friends from Cocoa Beach.”)

In the early morning hours he was occasionally able to borrow a Ferrari or Lamborghini from the hotel valet parking and take it out for a very fast drive. While those cars are not something he would want to own he says they were fast and powerful. They still didn’t feel as good as being driven by Matt Cameron playing drums.)

The object is a sculpture of a cow that sat on Stone’s amps for the first two years that the guys toured. Ed is delighted to see the cow again and puts it back on Stone’s amp for the next song.)(Update: the cow is actually from Karrie’s monitor board. Stone’s cow is at the Warehouse)

(Ed starts talking about some painful losses he has had lately and notes that everyone goes through that. It is part of living. Things can swing from bad to good and back again.)

(Ed talks for awhile about the veterans the know and have known. He talks about Tomas Young and the film and book about him and about how VA has systemic problems and hasn’t been forthcoming about the how they have been letting the veterans down. He talks about and finds Mike and Mike Jr. who run something called “Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch”. Ed says they will be donating money to the ranch from the show tonight. He sends a shout out to Pete Logan and his friends in the Navy.)

    Mike teased the first few chords of Yellow Ledbetter, much to the crowds' euphoria, before launching into Little Wing. Needless to say, the surprise of the cover made for an even more europhic moment.

    Sonic Reduce has the highlight !!was the besr version i ever saw or heard..amazing the crowd..so much fun
    I really dont get why they dont play at florida more
    The place is amazing..peiple are so nice and polite..crowd was so great

    I like this setlist a lot! Another heavy set in the beginning, Hard to Imagine, In the Moonlight, Pendulum before Off He Goes late in the set. It's great.

    Back at the hotel will compose a better fanview tomorrow. Elated to rock out with my 60 year old pj died hard fan mother (her first show) and get to hear the HTI request, Off He Goes, and Come Back. So so so happy.

    Thank you Dimitris I agree. People who've never been to Florida love to talk shit about it. The truth is we are just like everywhere else, there are great people here and there are douchebags here. But the PJ fans that are here are solid fucking fans who often travel abroad to see the guys play live. Having them come down here for us is always a welcome treat, and we welcome any and all PJ fans that are coming to us. Can't wait to meet some of these names finally in GA for my hometown show in J-Ville. Night everyone and I'll see you on Wednesday.

    I think Ed was looking for the energy from Miami to carryover tonight and it was sporadic at best. Blood to close the first set was a gift and the pit wasn't moving at all. If Ed killed the mojo Saturday in Miami, tonight it was on the crowd. LBC, Moonlight, and Little Wing were definitely memorable though.
