Is there a way to get the audio of eddie's voice in the version of Brother from the ten rough mixes...and dub it over the music from lost dogs? or a way to just improve the quality of sound on the rough mix?

I agree though, if you could it would be great!
you can put the origional studio version of brother through a series of different filters to filter out everything but his voice. it wont sound as good as if you got the master recording tapes, but it will sound decent. once you have this you treat it as an acapella and just layer it over the lost dogs version. ive got both lost dogs version and origional studion recording from 1991, if theres a skilled audio engineer on here il gladly pass them on.

You can only filter certain frequencies, and no matter what, another part of the music, eg cymbol, guitar will match the frequency range of eddies voice at any point. The original seperate tracks are needed to do any sort of remix.
Abeton live might work, you can map the downbeats and bring the songs into he same tempo.
