Last Aussie show? Tell me it isnt true!!!

Hey all! I went to the wonderful brisbane 11th show and had a blast. I am only just coming down from my huge high and starting to worry about what the future holds. I have heard alot of stipulation that this may well be pj's last tour in australia. Whats everyones opinion? Is the all so sudden incorporation of "alive" and "yellow ledbetter" etc. into most shows a sign saying "FAREWELL, WE ARE LEAVING YOU WITH A BANG"?? I have grown up listening to them all my life and the very thought of not being able to see them crank out another massive ever again makes my stomach turn! was wondering on what everyone thinks the future holds???

They've been playing Alive and Yellow Ledbetter almost every night all year. I don't think it's anything to worry about, I have a feeling PJ will keep on keepin' on for as long as they can - just look at two of the bands they've played with this year for examples: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers & Sonic Youth.

I've seen Pearl Jam 3 times on 3 tours on 2 continents and they have played Alive and Ledbetter 2 each out of those 3 shows.

Alive is making a much welcomed comeback on this tour, as it has not been played regulary since the tragedy in 2000.

I have to add that the Ten and Vs. songs sound so fresh on this tour - I didn't enjoy the renditions of the Ten material on the 2003 tour.

Ed mentioned at Melb 3 that they won't be coming back for 'YONKS'....but 2003 - 2006 was yonks for me so that could just be the standard!!

He didn't say it was the end and I think we have shown the guys (espeicially in Melb and Bris) that we need, want and love to have them here whenever they can make it back.

With Stone and Mike about to have babies (you know what I mean) they are entitled and deserve to have their breaks and enjoy the lives they have made for themselves.....whilst still giving us soooo much of their lives as well.

This is me trying to stay positive *glass half full*......beacause if I was to think this was the end after this tour........*shudders* let's not go there!!!
