Noise curfew is at 12am so I imagine there's some wiggle room to let them play longer. I also heard the Killers were set back by a rain delay last night.. so hopefully that doesn't happen to PJ tonight.

Good show last night... Loved how they opened the setlist. Also loved the mix of PJ veterans and young folk. Watching the younger people get their faces melted off to Pearl Jam was pretty entertaining.

Thanks for the tip about the poleyard. Much better than being stuck on a shuttle back to whister. We weren't sure about the buses after the show but it only took us 30 minutes to walk back to the car.

Yeah, it was definitely the hardest night to get back to the Pole Yard. Usually the pole yard busses came often and there was only like 5 other people in the bus. After PJ it was kind of a gong show. After waiting for about 20 mins behind about 60 people, we decided to walk as well. But it was a nice walk and better than waiting for a shuttle.

Also, I couldn't believe how close we could get! We came about 20 mins before Noel and were able to secure the (non-VIP) rail on Mike's side. It was fantastic, we actually had a better view than many people in VIP as the space between the two sections gave us better sight lines. Loved Release as the opener, followed by footsteps way earlier in a setlist than I've ever hear it! Loved Oceans as well to open the the encore, of the earth, etc... Very special surrounded by the mountains and thank goodness we didn't get any rain!

Btw, all Pemberton friends, may I respectfully ask you to bump this thread from time to time if you have time? I was really hoping for it at Pemberton as it was a home show with friends and family, but would mean so much if it happens at either Fenway or Wrigley:

The VIP section wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The description earlier in the thread made it sound like it was half the floor, but it really wasn't. It was tapered so the closer you got to the stage the wider the space for regular GA and less space for VIP (so the best of the best tickets mostly still seemed like they were available to regular GA).

When I read about $220 for the VIP upgrade, I considered it, until I realized it was per ticket.. lol. I'm glad we didn't. We went to use the facilities after Noel Gallagher, came right back and got a decent spot. All those people that missed out on GA for regular PJ shows could of just come to Pemberton :)

It's too bad we had to pay the extra money for the mandatory shuttle pass. I used it once for a 10 minute ride. If there's a next time I'd probably park at one of those peoples houses that were letting people park for $20 :)
