Some of these posters are worth 500 plus

I know, I have a few that are valuable. Some I don't want to take out of the portfolio and frame because they are so valuable.

For instance my PJ20 Ames was initially framed, a few years went by and I wanted to change the frame so I had my framer take it out...and thats when I noticed the 'acid-free' matt had left black residue on the border of the print... I was PISSED! so now that poster is just under my futon in a portfolio...prolly to never see the light of day again...the only thing that made me feel better was..."at least it was just a $30 poster"
I had something similar happen, all of my valuable prints are out of frames, except the ones that as buck put it, priceless to me. Those i keep on the wall to enjoy.
I know there some very valuable ones I have that I don't want to risk putting in a frame.

What do you use to store your prints flat?

    I like these Mylar-D sleeves.

Both way overpriced and not selling. The first indication in a long time that you can't just stick the PJ name on anything and sell it for whatever you want to charge!

Uggh, just bought 2 18" x 24" frames for the Lexington and MSG1 prints. Get home and find out the Lexington one is slightly larger than 18" x 24" @ 18.625" X 26".

I guess there's no choice but to custom frame the Lexington?

I'd suggest simply trimming the poster down to fit in your frame..... a pencil, meter stick, and a good pair of scissors should do the trick. It's a $35 poster ......
'best to you with whatever you choose to do
Don't cut the poster... yes it's a $35 poster.... but you're truly better off returning one of the frames back at the store and just storing the poster flat until you find the appropriate frame.

if you do decide to cut the poster, you might as well, just thumbtack it in a wall inside a sleeve of some sort.

Is there a reason Zio only got 10 prints?

Probably his decision, knowing the print isn't popular, and would have a hell of a hard time selling 75-100 AP's. Especially wanting $200 for them.

How long will these two show edition posters sit in the 10C store for sell? I say a very long time.

If he sold them for $50 bucks for 75-100 AP's, he wouldn't have a problem selling them out.

Most likely not (maybe). Isn't this the most expensive AP, except for the AP variant of the Toronto 1 show?

Maybe that's next... I don't see it listed as limited to an edition of 10, just that this us 1-10 bring offered... my guess is he sells the rest once 1-10 sells out

Its too bad... you can tell hes a very talented artist, but I just dont think his style translates well to what people look for in gig posters

after seeing that exact piece shown as art before the PJ poster, I think he didn't give his best effort this time. I think the price reflects that he is a big artist doing his 1st tour poster, and is treating it as real artists do, rather than tour poster art. If this comes lower than $100, and is signed and numbered, I would probably buy it. If it gets to $50 and is signed and numbered, it a sure buy for me.

So he regurgitated a previous piece from his collection and slapped PJ on it? He didn't do this piece specifically for the gig?

didn't look like it. Double checking now, since i wrote that from memory, looking at his work after I saw the poster.

He posted the picture on instagram a couple days before the Tour announcement, so it could have been done for PJ. Doesn't seem like it though.
