I'll buy from ebay, but won't sell. With their listing fee, final selling fee, shipping fee, and paypal fee. You can end up losing money on items with all their fees.

Tempting, but will wait for a chance from EMEK in the day's ahead over @ https://www.emekstudios.com/new_release.html . Surprised this was up back on May 12th. The public AP sale hasn't even been up yet.

What's the story behind this one being sold, is it for a charity or anything like that?

If that stays close to the price now, it wouldn't be a bad deal, since usually the first 10-20 don't get sold on the public sale. If I was at that show, I'd be trying for it, within reason. People will be paying that for it on fleabay from flippers as soon as they (if) get lucky and get one from EMEK.

Sold for $288.75, don't get why they add a $26.25 buyers fee to the $262.50 bid though.

They'll be bringing that on fleabay the day they go on sale on EMEK's site.

andyfarrimond is correct, it was 40-45 minutes. No one knew it was coming, it just showed up for sale. So, it took a little longer then if they would have announced they were going on sale on set day and time.

Lucky I was on here, was about ready to go out, but it started to pour out, so I decided to play on the computer. Sure glad it rained this afternoon.
