Was, is and will always be a great rock song! C'mon even for all of us that have lived with it for 25 years now and maybe got tired of it, it doesn't mean it's still not a great song. It has everything! A great intro, great chorus, and a suspenseful, tension filled ending. Stop with all the nonsense that it's overplayed and whatever cause you know you loved it the first time you heard it and just cause it's 25 years later doesn't mean it's still not amazing!!

The song gets marginal love around here but I think its a groundbreaking song as it has one of the worlds sickest base lines as its backbone and you may never hear Ed sing so intently. I consider their live performance on the MTV awards show as one of the greatest live performances of any song by anybody anywhere.

I have been guilty of hating on some of the classics being "over played" but I think there comes a time that if someone has grown weary of hearing the hits perhaps they should sit out a tour or two. Granted we all want to hear those rarely played gems like Hold On, Hard To Imagine, Strangest Tribe, etc. but Geezus aren't Jeremy, Alive, Even Flow, and perhaps even Better Man the songs that brought most of us here in the first place? Yieldwaukie and No Code Moline were magic and I wish I had been to those shows but that Lost Dogs in its entirety show is NEVER gonna happen... So either embrace the classics or maybe try what I try to do...?people watch and enjoy seeing others who haven't seen the band 30 to 200 times just completely lose their shit over them. You may find that someone else's joy is contagious!! :-)

I was at Moline and it was a night I will never forget and it wasn't just because we got to here No Code in it's entirety but, also because they played a sick, sick version of Jeremy! Look I love hearing HTI, Wash, I Got ID, Sad etc...but, the reason why I love this band is cause of songs like Jeremy! It was a paralyzing, disturbing 5:18 of music then and it still is now. With that being said can they start playing Immortality more!!

I really like this song. They don't seem to play it all the time.. I've maybe heard it 4 or 5 times live. I get pretty stoked everytime the play it. It's not like Even Flow where I've seen it at almost every show.. Jeremy's never been overplayed to point where I wouldn't like it anymore.
