    The place I go here in town has never let me down, they get everything and lots of it. Saw like 15 green river, a whole milk crate or two of white stripes, about 50 phish, and a big old stack of raw power
    I'm like an opening band for your mom.

    I'm not. I'm in Chicago. You can submit a list and they allocate items based on qty they get. You can always get an item or 3 from them. Usually its the stuff pressed upwards of 5000 or more, but still, one less thing to keep track of.

    Oh, I'm aware of strictly, I live near Madison.

    Headed to my local shop tomorrow evening. Any requests? Couldn't make it Saturday; I was stuck at some sort of live music event in Greenville, SC.

    I didn't go to RSD this year because:

    1) 3 of the 4 release I wanted didn't make it to Canada
    2) I'm really not a big fan of spending a few hours in a lineup to buy records. It's makes RSD my least favourite day of the year to go record shopping.

    I noticed the markups on RSD titles this year aren't as much as usually. Even on ebay there's plenty of people selling titles for $40 to $50 USD. Not like the crazy years when they were all over $70 USD, and some close to $100. Is RSD losing it's thunder because of the hassle in getting records, or are they finally pressing more to prevent flipping?

    Maybe I'll go next time.... The first one I went to was in 2011, and I gradually got tougher to get titles every year after that.

    I feel like (a few releases aside) this is the first RSD where quantities were produced at reasonable amounts to meet demand. Even if your store didn't get it, a little work and paying attention to discogs yesterday, it was on the easier and less costly side to track something down.

    I ordered from them yesterday, I ordered over my phone and didn't get any warning about it being unsecure. But, I've gotten that warning when I've ordered from the shop on here before, and have never had an issue.

    The day after RSD (I had to work Saturday) I found, with a lot of luck, a copy of Carlton Melton's "aground", 12" MLP, 5 tracks, 45rpm- only 600 pressed. It's a companion piece to 2015's "Out to Sea" and an excellent companion at that. Great, atmospheric rock, excellent sound. First rate. Good show, guys!
