London Tube Question

I'm coming into London tomorrow morning at about 10. I'll be landing at Heathrow. I was planning on taking the line that goes to Cockfosters and get out at Piccadilly Circus to walk around the city centre for an hour or two.
I then need to get to Wembley Central and check into my hotel before going to the arena.

What I want to know, what kind of ticket do I need?
I was looking at the Zone 1-6 day ticket. Would that be suitable?

Thanks for any help you can give me!
