Great song. Hope to hear it in one of the shows I go to this year. Start of the first encore with this!

It's not the best ever. But - amazing beautiful kick ass album! Doesn't have a song a don't like.
Oh please let it rain today.

Great tune, and Cropduster and You Are, are two of my favorites. I was so happy when I heard You Are at ACL last year, I had been looking forward to that for a while.

Another man... moved by sleight of hand.

Was listening to Binaural the other day, everything about the album is beautiful.

When you have songs like NAIS-SOH and Parting Ways you have something special.
People can argue about SOH being the best song but hard to argue that its the most atmospheric.

Excellent taste in Pearl Jam songs! Sleight of Hand was played at my very first show and it damn near brings me to tears every time I listen to the boot. Mostly because of what it reminds me of, but also because it's just a beautiful song. Right before they played it, even Ed himself said to the crowd "This song's actually got some musical quality to it."

And even though I love this song and the other two, I'm still a dork!

I love the song to death but I have a love-hate relationship with how it ends, just when it builds you up soo much

Good to see I'm not the only one.. I always thought there is a large part of PJ fans that consider this type of songs "show killer", just because too slow and difficult to sing along to.. you just have to completely immerse yourself in it, to really appreciate it.. I guess the 5/8 verse is what throws off most people..
on a side note, I was thinking how cool would be a studio version of the song the way its played live (the chords in the verse played one octave lower), it gives the song a 'warmer' feeling..

This is a great, great song.

I remember back in 2000 when Binaural was released, Sleight of Hand and Insignificance were the two songs from the new album I really wanted to hear live, and 16 years later, these are still two songs I would enjoy hearing live any day of the week.

Never heard it live, but the song itself never fails to make me take pause and reflect. Always opens my eyes and mind (or at least heart) in some way.

I've been lucky enough to get it twice out the 47 times it's been played. I hope you get to hear it live some time because it's absolutely magical.

Oh, clever one! You know, I actually used to know a bunch of sleight of hand magic tricks. My great-grandfather was a magician. He taught my dad some stuff when he was a boy, and my dad passed some of it on to me. I couldn't remember the first thing about any of them today, though.
