So let's think about campaign strategy for a second. Several times in the second and third debate, Trump stated that voting for Hillary would be an Obama third term. However, these are Obama approval numbers right now... including +13 in today's Gallup poll. Why does he think it's a good strategy to tie Obama to Hillary? Is this simply another appeal to the base...a tacit recognition by his advisers that its over?
