Ten in a row

Had some surgery this week & unable to get out & do anything physical & even worse the weather is perfect for swimming. So I have decided to cut the boredom by playing all Ten PJ albums in a row. Has anyone else been in this predicament & how did it go for any of you?

If you are really bored and have a PS4 you should play Street Fighter or Call Of Duty.

  • I plan on doing this on my 14 hour train trip to Quebec City on May for the concert. Gotta start my stretch off right

  • I've always wanted to do this with the Star Wars movies, but then I realized I have a life and no physical impairment that would justify it.

Have fun on your musical journey, I would read the liner notes and Wikipedia pages for each album. Get some more insight into the albums and songs.

I used to do that when I was a kid. If I was sick with the flu I'd put on the trilogy. You can fade in and out, but you've seen it, so it doesn't matter if you pass out for a few parts.

3's a lot though. I couldn't imagine doing it with all 7 movies that are out now.

And no I don't have the attention span to consecutively listen to all 10 pearl jam albums. Never occurred to me to do that either... lol... not even when there were less than 10 albums... I'm a bad fan.

Thanks & I am actually going through my PJ20 book to get that insight

  • I drove from PA to Iowa once and listened to all the albums (pre-Lightning Bolt), it was pretty sweet. I took notes (things I noticed during songs, what was going on during album changes) but haven't looked at it in years, will have to check that out.

I agree with Logan. Live bootlegs are so much better. Hearing some shows I've been to just makes me smile and all tingly...

Instead of the 10 studio albums, do a whole tour of bootlegs!

I never played all the albums back to back but one year for vacation I put together a playlist of the best version of each song i have for PJ. some were live cuts, some studio depending on my preference. think i had something like 135 different songs. it was fun to put together and cool to play.
