I really wanted that Maiden show to be my first time seeing anything at MSG but the timing is bad so I guess I'm gonna have to settle for PJ about a month later.

Have a great time at the show tonight for those of you going!

I haven't been to an Iron Maiden show since the early 90's.

Are they doing posters for their shows or do they have a single tour poster for this tour?

Really enjoyed the show last night, it was a little heavy on some of the new songs but I've come to expect that when they tour supporting a new album. The NY event shirt was pretty damn awesome so I had to pick one up, even at the $45 price tag. There was no specific poster for NY, just the generic World tour poster.

Best part was as we were heading in there was a couple in front of us who had fan club GA tickets. The wife was complaining about having to stand the whole show so I volunteered to trade our sec 102 tickets with them. It was pretty awesome being in the pit for Maiden.

    Up the Irons!!

Nice. How did you win them? Good seats? Any idea?

as far as show-specific posters, I can't remember Maiden ever doing this. Shirts, yes, but not posters.

Radio game on 104.9 the x in Rockford, IL called heads or tails. If you choose correctly you win $105 in cash or a prize package. I won the prize package of a game, pair of hockey tickets, and a pair of iron maiden tickets.

I can't complain on where I maybe seated at for this upcoming show. No clue until I pick up the tickets.

I remember on the Maiden England tour, there were tour specific shirts, but no posters.

Thanks for the info on the posters. I haven't seen Iron Maiden since the No Prayer... and the Fear of the Dark tours.

I'm going to Detroit, um I mean The Palace, Tuesday night. I'm looking forward to it.

For anyone who's been to a show, is the opening band (The Raven Age) any good? I checked them out on Spotify and they didn't do much for me there.

I know Steve Harris' son is one of the guitarists. Do they deserve to be out there or is this pure nepotism?

I was at the Tulsa show and The Raven Age did nothing for me. Almost fell asleep listening to their set, they should not on tour with Iron Maiden.

Nepotism in my mind. I'll go get merch before and during their set.

That's pretty disappointing. They almost always have a "real" band open for them. Although, Steve's daughter opened when I saw them for the Somewhere Back in Time tour. I got there after her set was over so I really don't know if she was any good but I certainly didn't hear any rave reviews from anyone I talked to that did get there in time for her set.

I was pretty tired from work when I got to the United Center last night. I did fall asleep during the Raven Age set. When Alice Cooper opened up for Maiden in 2012 on Maiden England, that was a great opener. Alice had the costumes, props, and great songs that made for an amazing opener.

A coworker of mine was with me and it was her first time seeing Iron Maiden live. She had a great time when Iron Maiden was on stage. Concurs on how mediocre the Raven Age was opening.

Going tonight to the Denver show and have been trying to decide if Raven Age was worth getting there on time. Based on the reviews, looks like I'll be there in time for Maiden. And, my last non PJ show before the Greenville-Hampton-Raleigh-ColumbIa portion of the tour kicks in this weekend!!!

We got there too late for The Raven Age. We asked a few people near us in the pit if we missed anything special and they were all in agreement that we did not.
