How's that?

Never alone
Always solo
Forever charged with this and that
Hyper-alert, Guise of Vigilance gifted
Tarred and feathered, vocal scars
Chords stretched and moved
Walking up and down scales
Strung out on the emotion of half-steps
Going by feel, instinctive, best

Blessed reflection
Middle world marketplace
A decade of mirrors staring at me
Never expected to be in this position
Never knew I'd have such an awareness of balance in the face of these expectations
Discarding these archetypes suddenly before me in dress and garment
Would be common-clause to presume it's okay to button the sleeves, loosen the collars
So frightening to know that apathetic dogma craves such a tragedy to fictionalize and impose later on
So unbelievably humbling, so very, very humbling

Reborn from death, limitless suffer, now sudden grace, how's that?
Hello
Hey
You're not alone
Everyone of you knows I got your back
We need you home
We're weary of watching 100 of you dying each day in a foreign land
It's 10 years later now, I still stand for you
We who advocate and take action too, stand with you
I know you stand for all of us still
Fills my soul with spirit and vigour when I see one of you
Fills my heart and head with contentment and reverberation when I hear so many of you sing
Universal faith in building in reverence
Emboldened by each in all, by expressions that cut through my soul and remind me of the gleam
Humbled, armoured in black
Everyone meant to perceive a better valuation of life's worth and how to better invest intentions
History must be upheld and protected, universally
