Hello - thought I would share something that may not be common knowledge about passports. My wife travels internationally quite a bit for business. Today she left from Detroit to Germany - when she made it to passport control they sent her to the supervisors office, the reason, she had too many stamps in her book and they wanted her to get some more pages. Of course she can't do that today, but she will apply for more when she returns. I never knew this was a potential issue. I have also heard of people getting stuck because their passportswere expiring soon. 1-6 months. Anyway thought some people might like to share other tips also. #SAFETRAVELS

Try to learn the language of the country you are going to. It's not their job to learn your language. From my experience most people like the fact that you will try their native language first.

    Also, don't be a dick.

  • For certain when you travel you should have at least 2-3 pages free in the passport and >6 months before expiration. Renew early to save money as it can take time.

In addition to the above regarding passports, verify entry requirements of countries you are traveling to. Depending on the citizenship of your passport you may need to get a visa before you travel. For those with dual citizenship, entry restrictions, fees and departure taxes may vary depending on which nations passport you are traveling under.
