she's a kiss surrounding even wind
gentle onto my rest
hers are eyes midnight birds
the softest night flight blooms again
again
a sun will come
invited across our pillows like dew
a knock opens a box sky-gift
soon she'll be warmed dance
i've nothing perfect
none decent
just a single flame from a drum
she moves across the seashore in eclipse
you'll hear this through direction of momentum
together rabbits & black walnut trees
we can trade silence
because
darkness still wants our songs
your lips on my back
these shoulders build hills properly
you just lay your open mouth on me & i go to work

I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
