Wrigley Stadium Question

Hey people. First, sorry to make another thread about Wrigley, but I need to ask few things about access to and within the stadium, since it will be my first time.

How does the entry look like? Long lines, checks etc
Merchandise : outside only, or inside also? tubes for posters?
Bathrooms: location and access inside the venue?
And most important:) Drinks..do they serve beer inside, before and once the concert starts?

I am also guessing it might get very hot in August, right?

I did not wait very long at all in 2013 to get in. They will sell stuff inside, in 2013 they had trucks outside selling merch in the days leading up to the show, probably won't know what that plan for this year is until closer to the show. I don't think I ever had a long wait for a bathroom in 2013. They sold beer during the show, but there will be a cut off time. Not sure what it was in 2013 with the 2 hour delay.

Lines should not be bad. There are a few points of entry depending on where you are sitting. GA line will start hours before the show, if not the night before.

It can be hot and humid in August, but its Chicago so nothing crazy. Night show will bring the temp down. Nothing a few cold beers cant help.

They serve beer inside the stadium. They usually have a set up on the field for those with Field seats or are in GA. For those in the grandstands, the normal vendors that are there for Cubs games will be there along with your typical "Hey ice Cold beer here" guy that walks around with tall boys.

Bathrooms will be your typical Wrigley troughs, but if you hare on the field there will be porta potties right where you entered

Merch: They will be selling it inside, usually at a few spots as well as a truck (I assume like 13) Often times they do a pop up shop downtown on Michigan ave as well. I live downtown and will post something on here if I see something, but I obviously wont know until the show gets closer.

Is there a better gate entrance to enter Wrigley? Maybe one that is not used as much. Does anyone remember when gates opened last time?

If 2013 was any indication, I will be drinking all of the beer inside the park.
