I've pointed this out on any number of occassions. Other touts are selling them, also I can only guess that around 2000 or so of the Wembley tickets have been sold thus far on EBAY. Check out the EBAY tix, strange to see them for sale from the USA, and Poland amongst others-yet most of our comrades on this 'board won't accept that some 10c members will buy, then profit from their tickets. I've given up on Wembley tickets personally and have booked to go to the Madrid show-it's a means to an end.Love to all, JUK.

£225 for supposed 'premium VIP' tickets in the front block?!?!?1 I hope some unsuspecting person doesn't buy them thinking they'll get right to the front. That's atrocious. But...it happens with every band and doesn't look like we can stop it. Life isn't fair sometimes.

I'd be very surprised if anyone who bought tickets from that site actually ended up receiving them.

Hopefully this new investigation into touting is going to put a stop to people like this.

At least years ago touts had to suffer standing in the cold and wet to sell their over-inflated tickets.....now they just buy a book on HTML and do it from the comfort of their squat

Yep, it's absolutely ridiculous. Sorry to sound ignorant, what's the investigation looking into specifically?

    This.....

    Ticket touting inquiry launched
    Parliament probe announced
Ticket touts are to be the subject of a parliamentary probe the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee announced today (May 2).

The team is launching a new inquiry on touting at cultural and sporting events, and is seeking evidence on issues including the causes of ticket touting and its impact on performers, promoters and the public.

They are also looking into the circumstances of ticket resale - at face value or higher value - and whether it should be allowed in principle.

Music fans are continually at the mercy of touts, snapping up tickets for festivals and gigs, before flogging them for vastly inflated prices after events sell out - and it is hoped this inquest will shed light on how to deal with the ongoing problem.

Well, it's a step in the right direction for sure. But i don't see how it can be completely stopped. It's going to be very difficult to keep tabs on every ticket sold and seeing where/who it goes to and then where from there it goes to and at what price. It's escalated too much over the last few years.

the whole touting thing has gone into orbit the last few years, thanks to ebay. it's a practice that always made me angry, now it's out of control. I'm glad to hear that parliament are finally looking into it, it's been clamped right down on at football-check ebay, you'll be lucky to come across tickets for a big game, because the clubs and authorities have stepped right on it to combat hooliganism among other things. It also doesn't seem to be so rife in other European countries, hence the likes of me can get tix on line from agencies for PJ (last year and this) for Spain, and Germany etc, because parasites aren't snapping them up before the fans. It can, and should be made at least much more difficult than it is.
ps. I see Slayer have been confirmed for the friday night in Madrid. JUK

I've seen 2 or 3 sites offering standing tickets (one site had the audacity to sell them as "10C Tickets"), but like someone has already said, these sites are a joke and I guarantee that they have none at all. Read their terms and conditions - no refund either!

Ebay is more secure for 2nd hand tix. I got some for Nijmegen for virtually fcae value.

i have got pearl jam tickets from ebay once, cost me $10 over face value, so really when you take into account the postage fees that ticketmaster charge, and the registered post that it was sent to me by, really the seller did not make extra money.

Look at the tix for Nijmegen!!! Basically all the tickets are the same, except for 10c.

    What a rip-off!
