Obstructed Floor Seats at Fenway

I got a seat in Turf A7 Row 14 and it is listed as obstructed view. I know that this is the farthest front floor section from the stage and will be relatively far away, but why the obstruction? Is it so far to the side of the stage that I won't be able to see all band members? Anyone been to Fenway for a concert before who can help explain the obstruction?

What I find interesting about Stadium shows and obstructed view seats is you never really know if you will have an actual obstruction until the day of the show. They have a lot of rigging, sound board, etc. that might get in the way, and of course at Fenway steel beams, but I don't think anyone knows for sure at this point. My guess is it won't be too bad.
  • Thanks. Those side floor sections in stadiums are weird. I'm glad I got row 14 because the closer in you are, the less you actually see. I remember a buddy and I were so stoked we got front row for Springsteen at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, but the seats were in side field sections and though front row, we weren't even in front of the stage, way, way off to the side, and couldn't see well at all due to the harsh angle.

If that angle doesn't work for you, I'll gladly take them off your hands ;)
