any1 know what the significance of the creepy White costumed guy Sweeping the stage behind Eddie durring the Opera House show in Boston.

    Neil Young had a sweeping guy on stage during his Harvest Moon tour, and in his Harvest Moon video. Maybe Ed's nodding to that.

    a guy i was sitting next to at the 1st show said that on the west coast, the sweeping guy was the guest, but boston never had one, so not too sure?

    He was there on the west coast too. Mike McCready was inside it at the Berkekly 2 show. You could tell from his shoes and pants. Anyway, the sweeping guy was there for all of the west coast.

    yep, it was McCready at berkeley II, and Ben Harper at Santa Barbara. So pay attention to the legs and feet :D you never know who may show up. I was actually bummed Friday night when I realized there was no way that it could be Bruce in the costume :(

    If it wasn't an Eddie Vedder-Mr. Liberal, social justices himself- I would think it was a KKK reference. Oh, maybe it was, and if so what was Eddie saying about the KKK?????

    Unless I looked away for a sec or I'm just remembering incorrectly (which is possible)...Ed walked off stage first. This may have even been one of the times the curtain was down after he walked off. I don't remember them being on the stage together...sorta like Clark Kent and Superman. Now I cant recall for sure.

    Montreal 2 definitely wasn't Ed because he walked off the stage and seconds later the sweeping creature enters and starts sweepin' away. I was on the left side and the person said to look at the creature's leg and you can see his long socks easily. He didn't have pants on(or maybe shorts).

    Who knows, it's still a mystery I guess...:P
