I have a room booked at the Days Inn near Wrigley. I am not longer attending the show in Chicago, just the Fenway shows. If you want a room, one King bed, PM me. I would like this to go to a PJ fan.

Nice gesture... keep it in the family!

If anyone needs help with hotel reservations (mind you these rates will be non-refundable), I may be able to help you. Hopefully you can save yourself some cash.

    PM me.

Same here. I was able to get the Warwick Allerton for about $100 through Triple A! Nice to know that there are going to be some fellow members at the same hotel.

I am staying downtown on the Loop, as I always do. I decided to save a little money and stay at the Congress Plaza Hotel. It is serviceable and not fancy, but gets the job done if you don't plan on hanging out in your room.

Getting from Wrigley to downtown can indeed take a lot of time. If you are patient or if you are cool with waiting around for an hour or more after the show, you should be able to hop on the red line or get a cab.

I am going to be getting a 3 day CTA pass and will be taking the red line back and forth, unless the opportunity presents itself and I am completely exhausted, at which point I will find a cab ($25+ cab ride normally from Wrigley to the Loop.)

My advice is to just stay someplace nice downtown near a red line stop. Expedia's hotel map, for example, shows all the CTA stops for your convenience. From the downtown area, you just take the red line north to Addison.

We're staying at the Congress too. Had good luck there in the past. I like the location.

How were you able to get the Warwick at that rate? Which nights are you staying? Thanks

Any couples still looking for lodging in Chicago? My wife and I are close to booking through Airbnb for the 19th-22nd but thought I'd ask around to see if there are 1-2 more couples that are looking for the same dates that would want to split on a nicer place near wrigley. Hit me up if interested. Thanks

When I was there in 13 I stayed at a place called the DeWitt Place. It was an older hotel, but nice and cheap. Near the Navy pier and close to the train, I do not remember what the train is called.
