Yes. Along with Low Light.. elevator music.

Comeback sounded better when it was called Black, before they rewrote it to sound like a generic Elvis song.

I don't not like the song. It just doesn't do anything for me. Its like some other songs I know only not as good.

Bringing Low Light into the agrument, you are on fire tonight my man~~ ha ha

Cant see the link between black & comeback

althought i can see the link between Big Wave & the worst PJ song ever

The only thing i know is that PJ albums should be written by PJ, Army Reserve crossed a line that i'm not sure shoulda been crossed. Who's next to co-write lyrics on a PJ album? Noone i hope, AR was a waste of my time to listen to esp considering that a real PJ song coulda been on the album instead

  • how is a song underrated? Is there a rating for songs? which songs are over rated? and is there a song rated just right?
this has always been my question, and no one ever answers. where are these song ratings everyone talks about?

My exact thoughts when I saw the title of this post. Where exactly are you seeing this song is underrated??

For the record, I think this "song" it sucks. If any other band you disliked did something similar to this, taking lyrics from another song on the album and putting them over an organ, most of you would hate it. But because it's PJ it must be amazing. It's about as boring as it gets.

Overrated = "Average" song overly praised by critics/fans
Underrated = Good song that doesn't get as much attention as it "deserves"

All boils down to opinion though, really.

    Brain of J is underrated.

Wasted Reprise, is just what it is, a reprise. Not meant to be spectacular. Not meant to wow the audience. Just meant to carry on a theme. I don't think Wasted Reprise could be underrated, unless people bashed it. What it gets is no talk, which makes sense.

The thing that annoyed me about WR is the fact that it scored a place in the album starting lineup.

All we heard is that the band had a mountain of material, and they still chose to waste a spot on the album for WR. That spot should have gone to another song they had up their sleeve.

Imagine if WR wasnt on the album and they ripped it out at a concert, we'd be loving it.

In closing, WR should not have been on the album when they had so much material to work with.

Gotta disagree. Worst song on Avocado is exclusively reserved for Big Wave.

    Agreed x3

Big Wave is the worst song on that album but that's not a bad thing the rest of the album is good especially the last 4 songs of the album. I can never figure out what I like more the first 5 songs of the album or the last 4. Unemployable, Big Wave and Gone could have all been left off in my opinion. They are my least favorites on that album. I like the original version of Gone w/o the band from the Borgata, it was a lot better for some reason.
    32 shows and counting...
  • I absolutely love the song, and live for the simple fact of the speech beforehand.

I like WR, alittle short but still good. Big Wave however is a pretty bad song. Comeback isn't great either. Army Reserve is one of the best on the record.

Wasted Reprise is a fine little gem, a beautiful piece of music. Whereas my 9 year old daughter prefers Big Wave.
