Thoughts on Corduroy slowdown for 2016 Tour?

Thinking we'll give ourselves a break from the ticket madness...while I love the Corduroy version where they slow it down (Wrigley, Latin America shows), I REALLY wish they'll bring back the old version for the 2016 tour. Despite it being played over and over again, it's still one of my favorite songs of all time and "everything has chains (changed*)..." is one of the greatest parts to any PJ song. Thoughts?

    I do not like it when they slow it down and then get the whole crowd "singalong" going. I guess it works for other songs (not so much for me, however) but they shouldn't messed with this one - even if they so happen to be growing tired of it.

    I think it was supposed to be easier on Ed's voice

    Yeah I think you're right, but they still play other songs that are way harder on Ed's voice (DTE for example) than Corduroy. Anyway, I'd love for them to bring back the old Corduroy, waaaay better.

    One of their songs I wish they played it the same as on the album,that slow tight intro is brilliant!!!
    The only times Ive been lucky enough to hear it live,its always sounded rushed.
    I do like the Bridge school acoustic version a lot too.
    The waiting drove me mad!!!

    i don't really like it. there are enough thumping bass/clap-along songs in pj's live repertoire now. and if ed wants to go easier on the voice, he could just sing the bridge the way he did in 98
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
